SWORD WORKSHOP taught by Charani (Charani’s bio follows workshop descriptions) 10:30-12:30  $25.

We will discuss choosing music, costuming and headgear.  We will work on movement to strengthen the legs and core.   We will do movement drills and practice combination movements and poses that look well performed in a duet or in a group.  It would be helpful to bring a sword, if you have one, or something else to balance. (a pot, basket cane or even book)  It would also be very beneficial if you  bring a yoga mat and knee pads. This workshop will help with balancing of all sorts and will enhance your basic dance posture/presence
