A big THANKS to everyone who attended, performed, taught, visited and sent donations for the 15th annual An Evening at the Oasis workshop and performance series, 2008. This year you helped us raise over $1400 for Candlelighters Childhood Cancer Foundation's Kill the Cancer not the Kid campaign http://www.candlelighters.org. A special thanks to Saqra for her help and to Halima and Arzina and friend (Dee?) for handling the ever-popular raffle. Both Saqra and Mezdulene taught fabulous workshops - we have real talent here in the great NW!! They and their dance troupes turned in fabulous performances in the evening show too!!

Be sure to note that next year we are bringing in the fabulous Riskallah Riyad from CT, along with the Riskallah Riyad Dance theater www.riskallah.com for two days of workshops and evening show, April 4th and 5th, 2009. The event will again benefit an organization helping kids!
